This activity improves expressive and receptive fingerspelling
skills. This came from a student of mine as a game to play while
on trips.

| |
(1) Find a deaf friend or fluent fingerspeller (or a few).
(2) Pick a category of proper nouns such as actors & actresses
names, movie titles, book titles, college & university names,
sports figures, states, captials, etc
(3) Take turns fingerspelling names from the chosen category.
(4) The first person to repeat a name (missed someone else fingerspelling
it) or to not be able to come up with another item in the category
is "out."
(5) The last person left wins!
